Dear Friends, Here is the progression of Mathew 4: the temptation of Jesus, first it was bread, money, resources, intellectual or whatever, God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are/is your bread, and Their/His WORD is your bread Second, the top of the Temple to test God, so Religious Pride, you are children, you follow your Father in Heaven, you do what He tells you to do, not the other way around, so listen at every step of the way so you may not be tempted Third, once you let religious pride in, Pride and the desire for Power gets in, the temptation to worship Power on earth and thus Satan.
